OF THE COMMISSIONERS’ COURT OF STERLING COUNTY, TEXAS

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Sterling County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 8 ^th day of March, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., at 609 4 ^th Ave. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, County Courthouse, Sterling City, Texas, 325 378-3481, at which time the Court will discuss/consider action on or concerning the following items, which may be considered in a different order than here presented:

1.                  Call to Order – Determination of Quorum

2.                  Minutes of Previous Meetings

3.                  Line Item Transfers and/or Budget Amendments

4.                  Accounts for Payment

5.                  All Reports Filed with the Clerk

6.                  Request of Volunteer Fire Department for Budgeted Funds

7.                  Road and Bridge Planning Session Re: Past Month Activities, Requests for New Activities, Setting of Priorities and Timelines, and Directives for Road and Bridge Employees

8.                  Paving on Parramore Lane Including Agreement with EC&R Panther Creek III, EC&R O&M, Blattner Energy

9.                  Discuss and Take Appropriate Action Concerning the Development and Implementation of a Long-Range Plan for Maintenance and Improvement of County Roads and Bridges

10.              West Texas Rehabilitation Center:  Worksteps Program

11.              Energy Assessment Report

12.              Possible Purchase of Real Estate:  Masonic Lodge

13.              Open and Accept or Reject Bids for 1988 Mack Vacuum Truck

15.              EMS Structure and Re-Organization Including Employment with the Service, Number and Type of Full-Time/Part-Time Employees, Authorized Pay, Authorized Benefits, Training Funds/Authorization/Requirements, Budget Amendments/Line Item Transfers

16.              Hire Part-Time Transit Driver(s)

17.              Appoint Election Officials

18.              Courthouse Security Alarm System

19.              TxDOT/SAMPO Town Hall Meeting

20.              Maintenance of County Buildings

21.              Future Agenda Items

22.              Order for Adjournment

Pursuant to the authority granted under Government Code, Chapter 551, the Commissioners’ Court may convene a CLOSED SESSION to discuss any of the above Agenda items.  Immediately before any CLOSED SESSION, the specific section or sections of the Government Code which provides statutory authority will be announced.  Dated this the 4th day of March, 2010,
